Prices are fixed where the scope is. Day rates are for work that finds its shape as it goes.

Two weeks to find where the time goes. You get a ranked list, the measurements behind it and the first fix merged.

I join as a senior engineer for a quarter and ship one thing end to end, with the tests and the handover.

Do you work full time for one client?
During a contract, yes. I take two a year so that each gets my whole week.
Can you work in our time zone?
I work UK hours and overlap comfortably with Europe and the east coast of the United States.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, before the first call if you prefer. Case studies here were published with each client's agreement.
What if the number does not move?
Then the audit says why, in writing, and you have paid for a fortnight rather than a rewrite.
Would you consider a permanent role?
Occasionally. Staff or principal level, small team, a product where a slow page costs somebody money.
